Just Eat and the European takeaway
Just Eat is one of the big delivery marketplaces in Europe, especially in the UK, Ireland and Spain, and part of the same group as Lieferando and Thuisbezorgd. It charges restaurants a percentage of each order, which is higher when its own couriers deliver.
Collection is your cheapest channel
Many takeaways already do their own delivery or rely on collection. For those orders, paying a marketplace commission makes little sense. With your own online menu, collection orders come in with a set pickup time, and delivery orders go to your own drivers.
Tourists and six languages
In tourist areas, half of your customers may not read the local language. Bite2u shows the menu in the language of each customer's phone —English, Spanish, French, German, Italian or Portuguese— with a photo of every dish, both on the QR at the table and on your ordering link.
What it costs
Bite2u is one flat monthly fee —$49.95 in the US, €49.95 in Europe, 49.95 CHF in Switzerland— with 0% commission per order and no long-term contract. The first 14 days are free, so you can test it with your own staff and your own customers.
