DoorDash plans, in plain numbers
DoorDash offers restaurants in the US three partnership plans —Basic, Plus and Premier— that take 15%, 25% or 30% of each delivery order. The higher plans buy more visibility and DashPass exposure. A restaurant doing 20 delivery orders a day at $25 pays between $2,250 and $4,500 a month in commission.
When DoorDash makes sense, and when it does not
The marketplace is good at one thing: putting you in front of people who have never heard of you. It makes much less sense for the regular who already knows your name and orders every week. That customer is the one to move to your own channel first.
Your own delivery, without the app
With Bite2u you get your own online menu and QR code, delivery zones priced by distance, and orders assigned to your own drivers, who only see their own deliveries on their phone. Pickup orders come in with a set time. No per-order commission: what you charge is yours.
What it costs
Bite2u is one flat monthly fee —$49.95 in the US, €49.95 in Europe, 49.95 CHF in Switzerland— with 0% commission per order and no long-term contract. The first 14 days are free, so you can test it with your own staff and your own customers.
