A menu for every neighbourhood
From Kensington Market and Chinatown on Spadina to Little Italy, Little Portugal and the Danforth, Toronto's food changes from one block to the next. With Bite2u, guests scan the QR code on the table and read your menu in English, French, Portuguese, Italian, Spanish or German, depending on their phone, with a photo of every dish and the 14 allergens marked.
Keep what the apps take
SkipTheDishes, Uber Eats and DoorDash bring orders, but each one keeps a percentage of every order. Bite2u gives your restaurant its own ordering link, a web app with nothing to download, that you share on Instagram, Google and WhatsApp. You pay a flat monthly fee and 0% commission per order, so a busy Friday night costs you the same as a quiet Tuesday.
Takeout on the way home
Plenty of Torontonians order from the office or the subway and collect on the way home. Your guest picks a pickup time and the kitchen sees it on its screen. If you deliver with your own staff, you draw delivery zones with a price by distance, and every driver sees only the orders assigned to them, whether the address is in Leslieville, the Annex or North York.
Front of house that keeps up
Servers send orders from any device, the kitchen and the bar receive them on separate screens, and the floor plan shows which tables are still waiting. When a group asks for separate bills, each phone at the table can view and pay its own share. Card payments run on the terminal from your own bank, and cash and card can be combined on one bill, with tips recorded.
Try it for 14 days
Bite2u runs on the tablets, computers and ESC/POS thermal printers you already have, and if the internet drops it keeps working and syncs once it is back. The trial is free for 14 days, with no long-term contract. Write to us on WhatsApp and we set everything up for you at no cost: menu, tables and printers.
